MUNWALK

MUNWALK stands as the oldest United Nations simulation association in France within the network of institutes of political studies. Its primary goal is to provide high-level training to students in English, focusing on negotiations related to contemporary international issues.

Each school year's first semester, we organise training sessions, including a General Assembly simulation and personalized coaching in the form of tutoring. This enables us to prepare our delegates for prestigious international conferences such as Harvard World MUN, London International MUN, or New York International MUN. Similar to the United Nations, MUNWALK embodies the convergence of a multitude of visions, interests, and ways of thinking. Our goal is not to offer vague solutions; quite the contrary, our delegates are expected to produce concrete and realistic responses to international issues.

Simultaneously, we arrange conferences featuring recognized speakers to raise awareness and inform about topics with international significance, such as the climate crisis, nuclear proliferation, modern slavery, or food security, all while promoting multilateral cooperation.

Academic excellence

MUNWALK aims to convey values and knowledge. We are committed to raising students' awareness on international issues and democratising access to United Nations simulations. For one semester, we organise weekly sessions that provide delegates with the opportunity to debate in the General Assembly. Simultaneously, delegates benefit from personalised support from members of our office and weekly coaching sessions to equip them with tools needed to debate, negotiate, assert themselves, and make their voices heard. Whether you are a beginner or an expert in MUN, join us for a weekend in March to share a unique international diplomatic experience!

At the end of the semester, MUNWALK organises its famous Final Simulation, a tradition that goeas back to 18 years! During a whole night at Sciences Po in December, delegates debate from 8 pm to 7 am. It is a real challenge but also an experience that leaves a deep mark on our delegates’ education, as the effort is substantial, and the night memorable.

MUNWALK is, above all, a family. In the spirit of the North of France, we foster a culture of conviviality, sharing, and team-building. Our goal is to introduce our delegates to cooperative methods, encouraging them to work together and grow richer intellectually through the diverse perspectives they bring during the simulations. MUNWALK is synonymous with good humor, unforgettable encounters, and lifelong friendships.

MUNWALK is renowned for its spirit of adventure! Each year, during the second semester, we proudly send three delegations to participate in three international conferences. This provides our delegates with the opportunity to broaden their horizons, immerse themselves in diverse cultures, meet incredible people, and apply the skills they have acquired in training. Whether it's at the Harvard National MUN, the World MUN, or the National MUN, our delegates consistently shine in committee sessions! MUNWALK boasts an impressive track record, securing numerous awards, including Best Largest Delegation and multiple Best Delegates and Diplomacy Awards every year!
